![]() ![]() This leaves some new areas to explore to find the rest of the chests - as well as the secret chapter.įrom Peach’s Castle, you can return to the Cannon leading to Spooky Trails and look to the left for some blocks you can smash to find a Collectible Chest behind them that holds The Swamp Battle Soundtrack. Now that the Phantom has been taken down, you’ll gain new weapons, more health, and the Smash Ability to break down certain blocks. Two Heroes should move towards the area under the main stage while whoever destroyed the switch on the stage should move to the opposite side. Getting your Heroes near the areas where the next switches will appear will make it that much easier to shut him down the moment he moves. Once the Bucklers are gone, keep dealing damage to Phantom, and make sure to move your Characters over to the opposite side of the arena to prepare for his next move. On the following turn, as the Buckler moves forward, have a Rabbid dash into him and move to his left to flank, and send anyone pushed away up into the Warp Pipe to attack from above. Your Rabbid up top can flank the top Buckler and remain relatively safe behind cover. If you are positioned correctly, you can swiftly take out the first two by the warp pipes using dashes and jump attacks, followed by explosive attacks or Mario’s Hammer. If you haven’t moved Mario yet, have him run up the Warp Pipe and break the switch before heading back down into cover in front of Phantom.Īs for your Rabbid up on the stage, keep that hero behind cover a bit distance away - as three Buckler’s will be summoned the next turn: Two guarding the warp pipes, and one guarding the one on the stage. Once the Phantom has run out of health, he’ll move to the back right area and turn on more spotlights - with two switches this time, one above and one behind him. Depending on where the Valkyries are, you can even have Mario go up the Warp Pipe to get a shot from up top, but be wary of the Phantom’s push damage. Have on Rabbid up to the left for Phantom in the far back left corner, while the other two Heroes stay to the right of him below the main stage. If one of the Valkyries hangs back behind cover, have your team move forward and lob Grenaducks - or even have Mario take the Warp Pipe to rain fire down from above, especially if you put points into dealing increased height damage.Īfter the Valkyries have been dealt with, keep firing on Phantom as you reposition your forces. If the Valkyries land a hit, they might bounce one of your team back - but you can also deploy explosive attacks as they get close to the Phantom to deal damage to both targets at the same time. From the start, you can have one of your Rabbids with increased move distance destroy the switch and then have everyone get behind indestructible cover - with your Rabbids targeting one of Valkyries while Mario snipes the Phantom.
